The sunset was crazy one night this July and I knew I HAD to get an HDRI or two of its magnificence.
I made this with the Insta360 One X with a prototype technique to nearly double the dynamic range of the camera, giving way more range to an already robust VFX tool.
The lighting itself is very soft and dreamlike with an amazing view of Midtown Manhattan.
There are plenty of artifacts in the non-city part of the HDRI thanks to the crowded boardwalk, so beware of that if you intend to use this HDRI as a background.
